Go Skate Day only comes once a year, and Atlanta showed up in full force.
After a full day of contests, giveaways, and sessions at Skate ATL, skaters from all over the city rolled into EAV for Big Trouble in Little Five Points.

On June 21st, skaters from across the city gathered in East Atlanta Village for Big Trouble in Little Five Points, a community-driven event organized by BTL5P. Held in the parking lot between Argosy and The EARL, the event brought together skaters, artists, musicians, and supporters to celebrate everything that makes skateboarding culture unique.

The vibe was pure Atlanta DIY, loud, creative, and welcoming to everyone who rolled in. At the center of the action was Stratosphere Skate Shop's iconic little yellow school bus, transforming the parking lot into a makeshift skate spot packed with sessions, slams, cheers, and nonstop energy.

While skateboarding was at the center of it all, the event was about more than landing tricks. It was about community. Friends reconnecting, new faces joining the session, and everyone coming together to celebrate the culture that keeps skateboarding alive.

For GRIT venture Skateboards, events like this are what it's all about. We started GVS to celebrate skateboarding culture, support the local scene, and document the people who keep it alive. Being part of Go Skate Day and capturing moments from these sessions is our way of giving back to the community that inspires us every day.
Events like this remind us that skateboarding has always been built by the people who show up, build something from nothing, and create spaces where everyone belongs.

Huge thanks to Big Trouble, Little 5 Points, and everyone who came out, skated, documented, volunteered, and helped make this year's Go Skate Day celebration one to remember.
